BURRI RESTAURATION.
Every now and then, a project comes along that hits a little different. This one with Burri Restaurationen was exactly that.
Set against the raw charm of their workshop in the Swiss countryside, I had the chance to capture a lineup of beautifully restored machines—each one carrying its own history, each one brought back to life with patience, precision, and a deep respect for the craft.
From a rugged International Scout to a battle-worn but proud old Jeep Cherokee Chief, these vehicles weren’t just restored—they were revived. You could see the fingerprints of time on them, but also the signature of care in every polished surface, every stitched seat, every bolt and curve.
What I loved most was the contrast: metal and rust, grease and sunlight, machinery and emotion. Burri doesn’t just restore vehicles—they restore stories. And being able to document that process, that energy, was a reminder of why I love what I do.
